Designers in Residence 2011 - In Pursuit of Imperfection, at Design Museum, London.
Exploring the nature of imperfection through the tarnishing of surfaces, experimenting with acidic substances and their effect on metals. The outcome of this response to the brief set by Deyan Sudjic resulted in a series of copper lampshades each of which have their own unique surface pattern.
This project responds directly to the brief that was set as the outcome follows a product that can be mass produced whilst being individually unique in is surface finish.
